The summer F1 break is over and it is back to action this weekend as the circus heads to Belgium. Mercedes completely dominated the first half of the season with Lewis Hamilton leading the way with five wins and team mate Nico Rosberg behind with three wins on the board for the season.
But there was perhaps an important marker laid down by Sebastian Vettel in his Ferrari after winning the Hungarian Grand Prix just before the break.
He is the only man besides Hamilton and Rosberg to have won a Grand Prix this season (two) and punters will be wondering now if Ferrari can step it up further to continue to eat into the Mercedes dominance as the season gets back under way.
Vettel has won twice before at the Belgian Grand Prix, in the alternating years of 2011 and 2013. That means he could be due to hit the chequered flag first again this time out.
Hamilton has only won in Belgium once before and Rosberg never. So maybe there is another window of opportunity for Vettel who is trading at 11/1 to land the win, which does offer some very nice each way value. Hamilton is 1/2 favourite, with Rosberg at 9/2 for the victory.
