It was a win for South African Charl Schwartzel at the Euro PGA season opener of the Alfred Dunhill Championship over the weekend. That was the first European PGA event on the new Race To Dubai challenge and Schwartzel, without looking too impressive at any point during the final round, managed to claim his fourth career win at the event.
The South African is back out this week as well as the Tour stays in the country and moves on to the Nedbank Golf challenge, where Schwartzel is an 11/1 punt to pick up a win. Only two men in the field start in single figures for the event and that is Henrik Stenson at 7/1 and Branden Grace at 9/1. You also have Louis Oosthuizen knocking around at a 16/1 quote.
Over on the US PGA this week you have the Hero World Challenge which is being led by 7/2 short-priced Jordan Spieth and there is a strong field here with the likes of Adam Scott, Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose in the mix.
